Luis Cross (Manchester, 1997) is a Director based in London. His film IF I CAN DREAM premiered at Tribeca and was selected for SXSW London. His second short Grandma’s Grillz was shown at Cannes Lions 2024 under the Saatchi New Creators Showcase, and also featured at the 1.4 Awards.
Without formal training, Luis began his filmmaking career through music and fashion, sharpening a distinct visual and sonic palette. His work carries a raw, emotional identity, filtered through the lens of classic cinema and sharpened by his cultural awareness. Led by instinct and fueled by innovation, he searches for stories that feel real — capturing truth through humour, documentation, and pure, unfiltered entertainment.
